Snipspace differs from Wiki not merely because of the extended functionality enabled by Radeox filters.
  • Snips have metadata
  • Comments are recognized as distinct from snip content
  • The snipspace can be hierarchical via namespaces
In short, snipspace has structure.

IMO, these distinctions make snipspace more appropriate as a general-purpose knowledge/information/data store/manager.
