What are your plans for the pinging of used version? Statistics? What does it send more than the version number, host address? When will it send it?

I have only used the Apache XML-RPC on the java platform.

Firstly I agree on the removing of the user object because it would make it easier also for the Notification System just receiving a Snip as parameter for an event which I then can check which type it is.

Currently I have taken the email field from the User object as part of my IdentityLabel (which also contains lots of different IM etc.) which is needed by the Notification System.

Will there be a RoleLabel, StatusLabel and PasswordLabel available soon?

I have also a WatchSystemLabel to put on the user snip (I need to update my Notification documentation now!) events mainly for administrators like removal of snips, new users, reload of configuration, restart etc.

What happens to the UserManager? Will it also be removed or would the parameters only be changed from User to Snip?
