Q: Why does SnipSnap not support <abc> feature for commenting?
A: Read
Joel
. He nearly exactly explains our opinion about commenting and discussion systems.
ryan: except that Joel suggests that users should be able to comment without registering, while SnipSnap only allows registered users to comment. Is this intentional?
Q: How do I use taxonomies?
A: Just add a Category to a snip. You can use a Category as a TaxonomyLabel.
- Create a snip that will define the taxonomy unit, i.e., [phylum]
- Add a TypeLabel -> Category to your new [phylum] snip
- When you create children snips of [phylum], i.e., [class], you will be able to assign them a TaxonomyLabel of phylum
You can create explicit taxonomies by using pathnames in your snips:
This is my [top level]
This is a [top level/second level]
This is a [top level/second level/third level]
