Dave Levy

I work at
Sun Microsystems, I'm a Principal Engineer and have worked in the UK field organisation, although I have recently taken on pan-EMEA responsibilities. I remain in Sun's field organisation i.e. global sales & support, I live 50 miles to the south-west of London.
I have a couple of sites that may interest you all, such as
My Blog and
my static site. I am using snipsnap as a unique experiment, its a one person collaboration site.
Basically, I use it to put facts and some stuff on the internet so that I or other correspondents can see it, often in (multiple) bulletin board threads. The hyperlink is concisely named
http://davelevy.dyndns.info/snipsnap. I am currently experimenting with reading it using a mobile browser.
I have uploaded my linux read configuration scripts somewhere here and also uploaded a green theme, in the user section of the
Themes snip, this is mirrored on my blog. I'll have a look for them as the bar below doesn't list them. I have also over the last couple of years tried and failed to get the .war running behind a firewall and reverted to the native Java version, which behaves just fine. I have also written some pretty comprehensive backup scripts for a system with bash, which I'll upload some time or on request.
