So I think a standard is needed and implemented into all major web browsers before this would as you say "improve the general experience of browsing" I think such systems hasn't been a hit because 1. Many people mislike that others can see which sites/pages they are visiting 1. On smaller sites you have to be lucky to find someone else with the same client 1. Need clients working on every os/browser Ofcourse such idea could be a success on single sites such as SnipSnap sites if it had been an integrated part of SnipSnap.
