This is pretty specific info for an end user. Say I want to just change a couple formatting rules. Can I do that by modifying a few lines in radeox?

Personally I think using the number one with a space, dot, and dot one for header, numbered list and subheader is confusing. A small typo can make something render wrong. It's too easy to make a mistake with the rules as they are.

Yes, but recompilation is needed. To do that you have to go to a Filter class for the formatting rule (e.g. BoldFilter) and change the regular expression. We plan to add support to SnipSnap (and Radeox) to read formatting rules from a file.
